Siobhan Reddel
Born in Melbourne, Siobhan was raised in regional Victoria, Canberra and Hong Kong.
She has worked in different parts of Australia and around the world, often in challenging circumstances, such as in conflict and post-disaster zones, or amongst the marginalised. These adventures, along with studies in philosophy, linguistics, medicine, epidemiology, hypnotism and somatic psychotherapy have all aided a personal journey to connect with others and herself. Currently she also practices Sufi whirling, sings with the Melbourne Glee Club and dances ecstatically. ‘The Kookaburra that Could’ is her first book: it is a distillation of experiences and ideas, friendship and community.
